What this application is
Sleep Sky Nightly Uploader is a private tool used only by the operator of the Sleep Sky Nightly YouTube channel. It uploads each night's finished episode, with its title, description and thumbnail, to that one channel and schedules it to publish. It is not offered to the public, and no one else signs in to it.
YouTube API Services
This application uses YouTube API Services. By using it, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
What data it accesses
- It signs in to the channel owner's own Google account with two permissions: upload videos
(
youtube.upload) and read the channel's basic profile (youtube.readonly), which is used only to confirm that uploads go to the correct channel. - It does not read, collect, store or share any information about viewers, subscribers or commenters.
- It does not use cookies, analytics, advertising identifiers or tracking of any kind, and neither does this website.
How data is stored
The sign-in token is kept in the operating system's encrypted keychain on the operator's own computers. It is never sent anywhere except to Google to perform uploads. The only data sent to YouTube is the episode itself (video, title, description, tags and thumbnail).
Sharing
No data is sold, shared with or disclosed to any third party.
Revoking access and data deletion
The channel owner can revoke this application's access at any time from the Google account connections page (also reachable through Google security settings). Any stored token is then deleted from the operator's computers.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Questions can be sent through the contact details on the Sleep Sky Nightly YouTube channel's About page.
